Who We Are

  Host: Athena Ronae McDowell Kittrell is a mom of 3 wonderful children with a very fun and interesting past due to the fact that she grew up in Nashville surrounded by Country Music's biggest legends!  Athena is the daughter of Country Music Star Ronnie McDowell so she grew up traveling the country going to shows and hanging out backstage with the greats!  Athena was a real estate agent and home builder before becoming a mom but always dreamed of having her own talk show, writing novels and being in the entertainment industry.  This show is a dream come to fruition for Athena.  

Athena will use this platform to share her 18 year health journey in hopes that she will be able to help others through their journey.  Athena has two incurable rare vascular diseases although she has seen some improvement in her symptoms due to help from the Mayo Clinic.  Athena feels God has a plan for her health journey and hopes His plan is to allow her to help others navigate the medical maze easier than her experience.   

The Athena Ronae Show will also feature interviews with singers, songwriters, doctors, psychiatrists, chefs, athletes and so much more!

Sidekick: James E. Hammond a two time award nominated actor, host, as well as talent manager, published photographer, producer, director! Although James acknowledges this as major successes he attributes his masterpieces in life to that of his two daughters! James had a dream as a child to work in tv and film and got his first taste in the field in 2005 marketing for events like meet & greets! This paved the way to representing talent in 2015! This would prove to be his big break while negotiating a movie for his actress client he got himself noticed by one of the producers and ended up as a background actor in 2018 on his first of many Feature Films! James lives in Downtown Nashville in recent years honing his skill to be the lead in several movies. It was looking at a cast and crew call that crossed the paths of Athena and James! Their background in Entertainment and having some of the same friends was an instant connect! Recently James spent time with a friend at the Cleveland Clinic with similar story of most of her adult life in chronic pain and trial and error looking for answers this set the stage to sign on to the Athena Project as he refers to the juncture and became sidekick to this journey!
